Big Horse TLC Summer Horse Riding Camps – 2016

Big Horse TLC Summer Horse Riding Camps – 2016

Liz and Mica are offering their 8th season of summer horseback riding camps at Good Reception Ranch. Please join us for some fun on our 20-acre farm in Erie this summer!

  • Led by experienced therapeutic riding instructors and mental health professionals, our camps emphasize social-emotional learning.
  • We encourage trust and cooperation and model respectful relationships with all participants human and equine.
  • Small groups (8 campers/week) allow us to support each participant to learn at his or her own speed.
  • Participants learn about horse behavior and practice working safely with their horses both on the ground and in the saddle.
  • There are one or two riding lessons each day. Campers learn to lead, brush, tack, and care for their horses.
  • We have lots of good old-fashioned fun on the farm–water games, scavenger hunts, art projects, and exploration.

Here is our 2016 Summer Camp Schedule:

Currently we only have openings in our tween/teen horse leader programs and the Mini Camp July 7th and 9th. If you have questions or would like to be waitlisted for another camp, please contact us.
